Upgrade Macbook Pro to 500GB Drive
Got this Lacie little disk 500GB drive for $99 -
http://www.superwarehouse.com/LaCie_Little_Disk_500_GB_External_Hard_Drive/301841/p/1537499
Cloned original harddrive using Carbon Copy Cloner http://www.bombich.com/software/ccc.html onto the Lacie 500GB external
Opened the Lacie, removed the HD
Put the Lacie 500GB Samsung Drive into my MacBook Pro
Put the original Apple internal HD in the Lacie enclosure
Now I have 360+GB free with all my original data intact.

Cancel Cable? Almost There
Boxee now has Netflix streaming support like Roku ( http://www.roku.com/ )
http://blog.wired.com/business/2008/12/boxee-adds-netf.html
More on Boxee http://www.boxee.tv/
But it also has YOUR local hard drive (and network) content, Hulu, Netflix, CBS, Comedy Central, Last.fm, and flickr and if you run it on AppleTV (http://www.apple.com/appletv/ ) it also has all of iTunes (including downloaded DRMed video and Podcast content.)
Cancel cable and get a Netflix account. Hulu and CBS have all the most
recent content or you can buy a season from iTunes. Really the only
content missing is live sporting events.
